Summer is in full swing all around the coastal paradise of Jervis Bay.

First Birthday

Jervis Bay Coffee Co and its sultry sister, the Martini Club, are celebrating one year in Huskisson this weekend. Toast the occasion with a classic espresso martini – what else – and sample the new menu, this Saturday afternoon 9 December. $10 cocktails 4-6, DJ Crazy Unicorn and Tapas Del Mar by chef Mumma Kim.

Keep the Xmas cocktails flowing

Serotonin has added new cocktails for the season, such as a Pimms Cup and a Gin Bramble, see their FB for full list and ingredients.

Bottomless brunch, pizza and amaretto sours, from midday this Sunday 10 December, bookings available at the Huskisson Hotel.

New Dinner Menu

The Pelican Waterfront Café & Restaurant has a new dinner menu, for Friday and Saturday nights this weekend, peruse the fare and make a booking.

More Santa stuff

Be at the Holden St boat ramp at 2pm this Saturday 9 December, buy your ticket for charity and dust off your Santa suit, for the annual Santa Ride for Charity.

Pooches welcome at The Common South Coast Dog Lovers Xmas party this Thursday 7 December, 5-8 at this popular Culburra Beach bar.

Markets

Husky Markets is turning up the Christmas factor this Sunday 10 December in the sports fields from 8am. More than 100 stalls, wander around with a coffee or even better, a refreshing beverage from the giant lemon.

Live Music

Friday and Saturday at Flamin Galah, check their website for details. While you are there why not donate a child’s gift (unwrapped) under the tree. Book a table online.

Jervis Bay Brewing Co Sunday sessions are always a smooth exit from the weekend, this Sunday 10 December is James Vann.

While there try the new Vietnamese noodle salad from the 5 Little Pigs food truck.

Break out your dance moves with JJ Spence and Nicole Brophy in concert at Tomerong Hall, Saturday 16 December.

Special guest Sean Harlor and the BadLor Duo will be live at 4pm this Saturday 9 December, at The Common South Coast in Culburra. Open from midday and presented by Penguin Head Brewing.

Art & Culture

Death Love Art curated by Max Dingle opens this Saturday at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery, from 4pm, including music from the Steel City Strings, and Ned Kelly’s death mask. A compelling exhibition. Check out the public program accompanying the exhibition.
