Make Good Providores Market
As part of their festival for better living this weekend, Bundanon Art Museum is hosting a special Providores Market this Sunday 18 May from 10am where you can stock up on a delicious selection of local food, skincare and even indulge in some gin tastings. Entry to the market is free, and while most of the ticketed sessions for the weekend are sold out, there are a few remaining and you can find out which ones on their website.
Tomerong Markets is on this Saturday 17 May in the village hall, 8am-1.30pm. Partly indoors, this lovely local market is good for a visit in all weather.
Berry Car Boot Sale is on this Saturday 17 May from 8.30am till midday, at the Berry Public School. The “Bag a Bargain Car Boot Sale” is jointly hosted by Berry Public School P&C and Rotary Club of Berry.

Shoalhaven Art Society has updated its calendar with a wonderful program of workshops and social events (with an arty theme, of course), which are available to members and non-members. Come along to an artist’s talk, a painting demonstration or a hands-on workshop in a variety of painting and art-making techniques. These events are selling quickly so hop onto their website to see the full calendar. Prices start around $20 for a talk and $80 for a workshop.

Reminder: Ubuntu Colours of Africa in Vincentia
Vincentia High School presents Ubuntu Africa 2025 Tour, a celebration of resilience, culture and youth talent in song and dance. These dynamic performers aged 18-20 began their musical journeys in the African Children’s Choir and will be touring the eastern coast of Australia, including Vincentia on Thursday 22 May from 6.30pm. These concerts are courtesy of KwaYa Australia, a not-for-profit dedicated to cultural connection through music and exchange. Tickets are $25 or family of 4 for $50, available online.

KV Reggae Fest
Another stellar line up of reggae artists will set the vibe at the Kangaroo Valley Reggae Fest next weekend on Saturday 24 May from 11.30am, $55 behind the Friendly Inn. Feel the vibe on the outdoor dance floor, refuel with great food trucks, and gaze into the bonfire when the sun goes down. There’s only one group now expressing interest in reviving the Vincentia golf club in a de-amalgamation from the Country Club, and they have posted an update with details of how you can support their vision. Meet Your Cabinet Minister
Ask your NSW government elected officials about a topic that is affecting your life or close to your heart at a Community Cabinet next Tuesday 20 May at the Ulladulla Civic Centre. NSW Premier Chris Minns will address the local community, followed by a Q&A Community Forum with the Premier and Cabinet Ministers. Community Cabinet events give members of the community an opportunity to engage with the NSW Premier and Cabinet Ministers about key local priorities and issues that concern them most. Entry is free but you need to reserve your seat online to attend, from 1pm-2:15pm (doors open 12.30pm).
