Sound Bathing in Nowra

Experience a one-hour sound bath from expert practitioner, Jen Freeman from Healing Sounds Jervis Bay, this Saturday afternoon in Nowra from 2.30pm, $35. Jen will use crystal singing bowls, soothing Koshi chimes and other instruments to nourish and relax you, at Meraki Store & Wellness Hub on Kinghorne Street. Book online.

Irish Music Slow Sessions

There’s a casual gathering of musicians this Sunday 16 February to play some traditional Irish music, at Husky Sports from 3.30pm-5.30pm, all welcome. Organised by local band, The O’Carolan Trio on the third Sunday of the month, you can follow them on Facebook to find out more.

Conscious Dance and Sound Bathing

Tomerong Hall fills with the vibes of great music and swaying people next Thursday 20 February from 7pm-8.30pm thanks to Dance Tribe South Coast’s monthly Conscious Dance and Sound Bathing event, $25 online or $30 at the door. Dance freely to music inspired by the elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether, then get comfy to experience the vibrations and waves of a sound bath. This alcohol-free event is open to anyone aged 16+.

Bubbles Beers & Business

The Greenhouse co-working space in Huskisson is hosting a free social gathering of business people in the area, on Thursday 20 February at 5.30pm. This informal networking event, located upstairs from 5 Little Pigs café, is a great chance to see how this beautiful space might be used for your business event. RSVP online to reserve your place.

Pop-up Dining at Ponte

Fans of Ponte Bar & Dining, on the Shoalhaven River at Nowra, will be thrilled to join one of two upcoming pop-ups, on Friday 28 February and Saturday 15 March, with a mouth-watering “Feed Me” seven-course menu for $70pp (gluten free available, request on booking). We love the sound of local fish sashimi, miso eggplant and sticky lamb ribs. Reserve your table online.

Husky Tri 20th Anniversary

Keep up to date with the action of the annual Husky Tri weekend, celebrating it’s 20th year on 20-23 February. Find the full program of events, both paid and free, taking place next weekend, online. There will be run and swim clinics, yoga and a lifestyle expo creating a great buzz in the seaside village.
