There’s nothing like live music to lift your spirits and get the toes tapping. We have three great ideas for Sunday Sessions this weekend, along with some irresistible jam sessions for your calendar. There’s also a great program of markets up and down the South Coast and a pop-up dining experience in Kangaroo Valley.
Live Music Sunday Sessions
Jervis Bay Brewing Co Huskisson from 4pm. Paul Greene is live Their blurb says: From raucous stomping blues and swirling harmonica to gentle truths of existence, Paul Greene’s live performance will leave an indelible impression.

Cupitt’s Estate Ulladulla features crowd fave, Horse Drawn Cadillac this Sunday from 12.30pm, bringing their unique blend of blues, soul, and a whole lot of groove to the Wine Garden. Perfect excuse for a long lunch.
Bannisters Pavilion Rooftop Bar Mollymook is a stunning place to wrap up your weekend with live music on Sunday 5pm to 8pm featuring Jack Willis this Sunday.
Markets This Weekend
The first Saturday of the month offers a selection of South Coast markets, including Twilight at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum from 3pm, including live music from Anneliese Szota and The Chocolate Dogs, plus a fundraising bar (bubbles, anyone?) and great food trucks. It’s a perfect way to enjoy the first evening of Autumn.
Saturday morning’s market is the 100+ stalls of the Milton Showground Markets, from 9am till 2pm. Browse fresh produce, arts and crafts, homewares and garden and more.
Sunday morning it’s Culburra Beach Market, from 8am – 1pm on Fred Evans Lane, with the new, earlier finishing time to try to beat the afternoon prevailing winds. Be there early to browse local favourites.

Pop-Up Dining KV-style
Tonight, Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March, Caterina in Kangaroo Valley will be hosting a pop up restaurant in the village courtyard from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, serving Aperol spritz, freshly shucked oysters, Greek inspired dishes designed around seasonal and local ingredients, minimal intervention wines, local beers and their house cordial.
Walk ins welcome, bookings recommended.
Filo Night at Bud’s this Monday
Monday 3 March is another Filo Night at Bud’s Tavern in Huskisson, with a guest team of chefs preparing an a la carte menu of authentic flavours – everything on skewers! We love food that comes with its own handle, such as glazed tofu or pork belly in Filipino bbq sauce. Book a table from 5.30pm or walk in on the night.
It’s a Wrap
Make your own beeswax wraps and use less plastic, with this $5 workshop hosted by Shoalhaven Council’s Waste Services division. In Nowra on Saturday 8 March, this handy 2-hour workshop for adults starts at 9am. Book online.
Plan Ahead: 3 Jam Sessions at Bundanon, JB Brewing Co and Kiama Jazz Fest

Hosted by Marley Rooney, Yasmina Sadiki and their band. Musicians and MCs can jump on stage or simply enjoy the jam session.
Join in the celebrations across the weekend of 8/9 March, to open the exhibition which features works from contemporary artists Robert Andrew, Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan and Keg de Souza, presented alongside paintings by the Martu communities of central Western Australia, and video works by Sorawit Sangsataya and Tina Stefanou. Find the whole program for the opening weekend online.
Jervis Bay Brewing Co is the site of an Irish music jam session on the eve of St Patrick’s Day, Sunday 16 March from midday. All musicians are welcome to join in, as The O’Carolan Trio leads the group in playing traditional Irish tunes. Wear something green!
The streets of Kiama will be swinging on the weekend of 7-9 March at the annual Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival, with a program jam-packed full of excellent music, including a Sunday afternoon stage in Hindmarsh Park featuring crowd fave, Horse Drawn Cadillac. Sunset Cruise Party
Jervis Bay Wild’s Tekin III will host a sunset dance cruise on Friday 21 March, departing from the Fisherman’s Wharf in Huskisson at 5pm, returning at 8pm. Dress up for the White Party with DJs, charcuterie grazing and on-board bar for drink purchases. Chances are there will be some dolphins along for the ride. Tickets from $75 for early bird bookings. This is an 18+ event.
