Spring school holidays, the countdown to the big C word has commenced – it’s three months till Christmas! Check out Narrell’s story for some great ideas for family-time this holidays. And keep scrolling for a few ideas for your leisure time this week.
It’s Save the Koala Day this Friday 27 September (the whole month is dedicated to our iconic, endangered koalas), so take a moment to consider that it’s estimated there are only 60,000 wild koalas left in Australia and reflect on the massive hits to their population that occurred due to catastrophic bushfires, loss of habitat and other threats like attacks from feral animals. If you are able, now is a good time to contribute to your choice of koala charity. With the big C fast approaching, consider what I do – I send a koala sponsorship as a gift to my relatives overseas, no postage required!
