Last-minute plans are still possible – your guide to what’s on before the 9pm fireworks spectacular in two locations, Voyager Park and the Husky Carnival in the sports fields. Don’t forget to arrange your transport in advance.

Set the celebratory vibe from 3pm Sunday with resident DJ Dusty Knuckles and live band, All the Fuss, performing under the mirror ball to smooth your way into the new year.
The venue closes strictly at 10pm, but there’s plenty of time to see the carnival fireworks from the beer garden.
This is a free, unticketed family-friendly event.

There are still a few tables available at the Galah, which is seeing out the old year from midday (closing at 9pm). Enjoy DJ beats, brews on tap or a cocktail or two, and admire the flamin décor which includes tiny marble cockie heads embedded into surfaces.
Bookings are best made online.
Factory 8/5 Erina Road Huskisson (in the industrial zone)
Enjoy a cocktail on the deck while you anticipate the fireworks over the road. The first hour is the bar’s regular happy hour, and of course there are delicious vegetarian bar snacks to accompany your choice of summery sips. The deck is pet-friendly, so if your pooch is firework-tolerant, they are welcome to stay till the sky show kicks off at 9pm.
No booking required, walk-ins only.

Very limited places left to send off 2023 with seven delectable courses of classic Wild Ginger fare and a cocktail or two standard beers/wines. We are huge fans of their spicy margaritas, and we don’t need a new year’s celebration to enjoy that!
Limited tickets are available for two ‘sittings’ at one of the best-located venue for the evening. The menu from Mama Kim sounds divine and the view across to the park is perfect.
$80/$110 (complimentary bubbles during fireworks) in-store now.
