Plastic detritus on the beaches is a very visible problem right now, and Our Future Shoalhaven is encouraging everyone to help clean up as much as possible. Every little bit counts, so take a bag to your beach of choice and collect what you can. The organisation cited Caves Beach and Bherwerre Beach as worst affected after the recent storms, but this issue is everywhere. To find out more about the community cleanup efforts, take a look at their Facebook page.
