It’s International Women’s Day and there are gatherings all across the Shoalhaven this weekend and throughout the month to reflect on the lives of women from all corners of our world. I am on my way to take part in a panel discussion and morning tea organised by Vincentia Matters, with two esteemed local women, Dr Pia Winberg from PhycoHealth and Diana Lorentz from the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum. I am honoured to be invited to speak alongside two such distinguished women and I acknowledge the enormous contributions they make to our community here in Jervis Bay, as well as to their respective fields of expertise.
