Friday 13 December: If you are starting to dread the planning and organising and fussing that goes with catering a Christmas lunch, we’ve got some tips for you but act quickly! Some of these pre-orders end today!
Lunch is sorted! The culinary expertise of Old Salt chef-couple Michelle and Terry Robinson will cater your entire party. But you need to order before Sunday 15 December.
Their menu covers starters, mains and for dessert, that famous cheesecake by Michelle! Order all seven menu items for a perfectly balanced lunch for 4-5 people, or mix and match according to your needs. Pick up from South Nowra on 23 December.
Add some Chris-mosa ingredients to your list (Old Salt’s unique marionberry liqueur and blood orange & passionfruit seltzer) to add fizz and finesse to your Santa Day festivities.
If you have the freezer space, you can take home boxes of prawns, cooked or raw, right now. Alternatively, put in your customised Christmas order before Tuesday 17 December, for pick up on Christmas Eve between 8am and 3pm – start with Jervis Bay-grown oysters and mussels, add some sauces and condiments, like the new Wasabi Balsamic Dressing, throw in some cooked prawns ready to peel and dip. Christmas feast sorted.
In-store only, in the Huskisson industrial zone.
For free-range, heritage breed pork, you can’t beat Martins Ridge Farm, but be quick because their Christmas specials are low in stock and orders close 7pm today, Friday 13 December – especially ham and porchetta rolls. We wrote about Martins Ridge earlier this year, if you want to find out more about their farming philosophy and special events. They are worth a visit or try to catch them at one of the South Coast markets, check dates and locations on their website.
The friendly butchers at Home Co are ready to take your Christmas order, by email (they will get back to you to confirm weights and prices) or see them in-store in the Woolies mall. They have a selection of hams, pork roasts and whole roast turkeys available.
