Landscapes at New Gallery in Culburra

Another exciting new art show to add to your rounds this Easter is by the Shoalhaven Plein Air Painter Group, on display at The Common South Coast in Culburra.

The addition of an art gallery into this popular hospitality venue is another win for the region, which is flourishing with collaborations between venues and creatives.

In The Common’s dining annexe, you will see a fantastic variety of landscape paintings by the group, and all are for sale. Plein air refers to paintings made outdoors, a raw and vital way to capture a landscape’s shifting moods and light directly onto the canvas.

The Common will be hosting a new exhibition every two months supporting local artists. Interested artists or groups can contact Alex at The Common to inquire. The Shoalhaven Plein Air Group invites new members to contact Mark,  0412 228 854.
