Rolling out the seafood at Jervis Bay Shellfish Market
While Blue Nami’s sushi master, Chef Egi takes a break, Jervis Bay Shellfish Market is keeping things deliciously fresh with two new seafood rolls launching today.

First up, their cooked succulent fresh prawns with crisp lettuce and a rich, house-made seafood sauce is a perfect marriage for prawn lovers.
The second option is a flavour-packed seafood roll featuring crab meat, fresh cooked prawns loaded with celery and shallots, all blended with the same signature sauce made by shop manager Michael Crumpton.
These rolls are sourced from the well-loved Huskisson Bakery sister cafe The BakeHouse just around the corner in the Woollamia industrial estate. Available Thursday to Saturday for $13.50. Get in early before they’re gone!
Supper Club at Sussex Inlet
Food lovers, prepare for a five-course feast at Sussex Inlet’s Supper Club this Saturday 5 April, designed by Chef Lucas Cerullo David from El Cantina. With a background at Nikkei and Tokyo Bird in Surry Hills, plus features in the Sydney Morning Herald, Lucas brings his bold, Italian-inspired flavours to the Shoalhaven.
The menu begins with local focaccia and Calabrian caviar, followed by antipasti of mortadella, salami classico and bresaola. Next, indulgent gnocchi alla bava features pillowy, lightly sweet potato with fontina cheese and crispy enoki mushrooms. The main event is polpette al sugo, meatballs with pine nuts, Grana Padano cheese and fresh focaccia. Dessert delivers two cannoli, one classic, one surprise.
Dietary requests can be noted at checkout. It’s BYO, but the night starts with a free glass of Prosecco from The Wine Apothecary, because great food deserves a great welcome, $70 pp from 6pm at the Thomson St Complex.
Ponte Pop-up Italian “Feed Me”
Book now for a dining special at Ponte, under the bridge at Nowra, on Friday 11 April, when chefs Thiago and Sam will present a carefully created seven-course Italian style feast for $75pp. These pop-ups sell out almost as soon as they are posted, so if local fish carpaccio, wild mushroom arancini and lamb ragu pasta tickle your taste buds, don’t delay. Choose from three sittings starting at 6pm.
The Ponte restaurant alongside the Shoalhaven River is a lovely intimate venue, where Sharon & Thiago Meneses grew their foodie following. Minimum booking is for two, and there will be a great selection of beverages to accompany your feast (no a la carte menu available).
And of course there is dessert, tiramisu no less.
“Fall Back” With a Cocktail in Hand
Daylight savings winds back this Sunday 6 April, and so could your chance to grab a spot at the Huskisson Hotel’s Seafood Bottomless Brunch. With fresh seafood towers, free-flowing cocktails, and ocean views, it’s the perfect way to savour an extra hour of your weekend.

This one’s even bigger, with Jervis Bay Distillery launching its new “cocktails in a can” and you can be among the first to try them.
Limited tickets are still available at $65 per person, 12-2 pm but not for long. Don’t miss out!
