Here in Jervis Bay we have three local favourites opening on Christmas Day, each offering a different way to celebrate, from an immersive long dinner in the bush to relaxed, flavour-forward takeaway in Huskisson.

Gunyah Restaurant at Paperbark Camp, Woollamia
Make your Christmas Day a memorable occasion with a Bush Christmas banquet in the treetops at Paperbark Camp’s very own Gunyah Restaurant.
Dinner is priced at $220 per adult and $180 per child and features a six-course Mediterranean-inspired menu with bubbles on arrival.
Expect a generous progression of dishes, from South Coast oysters and kingfish with cervelle de canut, to grilled prawns with fermented chilli butter, warm bread with zaatar, grilled flank steak with smoked beef fat vinaigrette, roast kipfler potatoes, and a mango, coconut and makrut “Kaffir” lime pavlova to finish.
Please note, a vegan menu is not available for this event. Bookings are essential and are best made on (02) 4441 6066 or email info@paperbarkcamp.com.au.
James Kitchen Chinese, Huskisson
12pm to 2:30pm and 5:30pm until late

A Christmas Day surcharge may apply, and it is wise to order early.
