Gunyah Restaurant at Paperbark Camp, Woollamia

Make your Christmas Day a memorable occasion with a Bush Christmas banquet in the treetops at Paperbark Camp’s very own Gunyah Restaurant.

Dinner is priced at $220 per adult and $180 per child and features a six-course Mediterranean-inspired menu with bubbles on arrival.

Expect a generous progression of dishes, from South Coast oysters and kingfish with cervelle de canut, to grilled prawns with fermented chilli butter, warm bread with zaatar, grilled flank steak with smoked beef fat vinaigrette, roast kipfler potatoes, and a mango, coconut and makrut “Kaffir” lime pavlova to finish.

Please note, a vegan menu is not available for this event. Bookings are essential and are best made on (02) 4441 6066 or email info@paperbarkcamp.com.au.

James Kitchen Chinese, Huskisson

12pm to 2:30pm and 5:30pm until late

A trusted local favourite, James Kitchen Chinese is open on Christmas Day, serving the expertly-prepared, authentic dishes it is known for. Highlights include handmade fresh dim sims, salt and pepper soft shell prawns, and vegetarian stir-fried green beans. Located on the main street of Huskisson, it is a relaxed, crowd-pleasing option for an easy Christmas lunch.

AK Dragon Malaysian, Huskisson

Open from 11am to 5pm on Christmas Day, AK Dragon is offering takeaway with limited covered outdoor seating available. A smaller menu will be in place, featuring Greenwell Point rock oysters at market price, handmade spring rolls and curry puffs, crispy pork belly with steamed vegetables and bok choy, and the much-loved 12-hour cooked wagyu beef rendang. A Christmas Day surcharge may apply, and it is wise to order early.
