Oysters! Feast! Cheese!
The World’s Your Oyster Friday 15 May, Greenwell Point and Pyree11am $123
One of the most highly anticipated events of the season for oyster lovers!
The true spirit of the Autumn Celebration of Food is in the theatre, the sharing and the showcasing of our region’s best fare.
Pyree Hall will have it all from 11am next Friday when Sally McLean – daughter of Jim Wild of Jim Wild’s Oysters – and Jack Dinnie – one of Australia’s most highly- awarded caterers from Bumpy Road – put on a delicious show.
The day starts at the rustic oyster farm out at Greenwell Point, where Sally will give an insider’s tour of the working aquaculture facility, before she demonstrates exactly how to shuck without doing yourself an injury.
The feast features a dozen oysters per person with a variety of toppings available – all shucked for you, of course – and Bumpy Road’s signature Share-a-Fare dining experience followed by a spread from Unicorn Cheeses.
