So many options this weekend! You could have all your Christmas shopping finished. Try the Milton Village Christmas Markets this Saturday 2 December, 9-2, the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum Twilight Markets Saturday from 3-7, or the Kangaroo Valley Christmas Shopping Night on Friday 1 December 3-8, or a twilight artisan & food truck market at The Mill in Pyree.

Give the gift of art, shop along the Currarong Art Trail Saturday December 2 from 10-2, and support local artists.

You can light up a kid’s Christmas

There’s still time to put some Christmas cheer under the Giving Tree at the St Georges Basin Country Club. Pick a gift for a 0-12 year-old child, and leave it (unwrapped) under the tree before 11 December.

Carols in the Park

Bring your rugs, chairs and a few $ for the food trucks and enjoy Christmas Carols thanks to the Lions Club this Saturday from 6pm at Paradise Beach Reserve in Sanctuary Point.

Help Keep JB Clean

There are some incredible people here in JB who are passionate about keeping our environment as clean and safe as possible, mobilising the community to help, and even collecting data to improve environmental outcomes for everyone. You can get involved this Sunday from 10am in Huskisson where the freediving tour operators, Woebegone, are helping a team of volunteers to clean up along the waterfront. Check their Facebook post for all the details, and enjoy a hot beverage from Serotonin on Currambene as a thank you.

Festivals

It’s the Vincentia Festival at the Burton Street Village this Saturday, officially opening the newly renovated village square, lots of food and drink, live music and stalls, 12-8.

Live Music

Welcome in the first weekend in December with a fantastic choice of local live music. Flamin Galah has a great line up all weekend Starting on Friday 1 Dec with Kate Young at 5.30pm, then Saturday at 4.30pm is Three Hours South and Sunday from 1pm is Shaun Baxter 1pm. Table bookings are highly recommended.

Jervis Bay Brewing Co is always humming on a Sunday, this weekend it’s Jeremy Butterworth in the Taproom from 4pm.

Chill out on the deck at vegetarian restaurant Serotonin on Currambene this Friday and enjoy the sounds of is Kane Cali from 5pm.
