Heading into the Autumn school holidays in Jervis Bay

 In NEW

Expect the occasional light drizzle and low 20s this weekend according to BoM, which is perfect for browsing two sensational markets at either end of Huskisson this Sunday, coffee on Owen Street and a zingy cocktail or two to get the ball rolling on Saturday night – try Bud’s Tavern, Pasta Buoy, Wild Ginger, and the Martini Club at Jervis Bay Coffee Co, for spicy margs or espresso martinis.

Markets for Everyone

The pick of the markets is in Huskisson this Sunday, with the ‘usual’ Husky Markets located in White Sands Park instead of the sports fields for this Sunday only, and a special artisans market hosted by Arts Muster happening in the Community Hall in Dent Street. Wander through around 100 stalls in White Sands Park from 8-2pm, then head up to the Hall to see textiles, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, paper crafts, homewares, gifts, stationery and more, from 10-4pm. You can try your hand at a mini-craft workshop or community knitting project for free, while you’re there.
